We are looking for an experienced Company Builder to join us!

Role description Company builder
As a company builder you will work with the founders and management of the blq portfolio companies on a weekly basis to ensure they are taking the right steps to scale their business. This can for instance be setting a clear company strategy, company steering to ensure the entire team is pulling in the same direction, improving the commercial functions based on best practices within SaaS, and identifying and executing on recruitment needs. We are looking for a person that will use their experience and knowledge to guide our companies operationally. Your main goal is to create & identify rising commercial opportunities, be involved in the long term strategy & relationship in order to help the transition from startups to scaleups for our portfolio companies.

A systematic approach to company building
We firmly believe that building solid, successful companies can be done systematically, even at an early stage. The blq box is our way of doing this. The blq box consists of four key areas: Scale, Stickiness, Storytelling and Team. As a Company builder you will work systematically with the blq box approach together with our portfolio companies.

Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Business or Marketing
Experience from the journey “from start-up to Scale-up”
5+ years of direct business SaaS sales experience
Operational experience from a SaaS company
Team management skills
Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
Demonstrated problem-solving abilities
Demonstrated ability to be proactive, self-motivated, detail oriented, and creative
Strong verbal and written communication skills required

Primary Responsibilities
Meet annual corporate and departmental objectives on a quarterly basis by adapting company strategy to company needs
Analyzes the territory/market’s potential and determines the value of our companies
Provides ongoing interaction with our companies
Establishes, develops, and maintains business relationships with prospective customers in the assigned market segment to generate new business for the organization’s companies and services
Conducts consistently high-quality prospect outreach, in-person visits, and presentations to prospective companies
